基于CHARLS数据库探讨身体圆度指数与中国中老年人群骨关节炎的相关性
Association between the body roundness index and osteoarthritis in middle-aged and older adults in China:evidence from the CHARLS database

Abstract
Objective To explore the association between the body roundness index(BRI)and osteoarthritis(OA).Methods A cross-sectional study was conducted using data from the China Health and Retirement Longitudinal Study(CHARLS).The relationship between the BRI and OA among middle-aged and older adults in China was assessed using multivariable logistic regression models,restricted cubic splines(RCS),interaction terms and subgroup analysis.Results A total of 8 548 participants were included in the analysis,including 3 700 OA patients,with a prevalence of 43.28%.After adjusting for confounding factors as sociodemographic characteristics,lifestyle factors and metabolic factors,the BRI was positively associated with OA(OR=1.12,95%CI:1.05-1.18).Stratified analysis by age,gen-der,marital status,residential area,education level,smoking,alcohol consumption and body mass index(BMI)showed no significant differences among subgroups(P＞0.05).Conclusion The BRI is positively and linearly associated with OA.For each unit increase in the BRI,the risk of developing OA increases by 12%.关键词
