"通督调神"针刺法联合现代康复治疗应用于脑梗死偏瘫患者的临床疗效观察
Observation on clinical efficacy of"Tongdu Tiaoshen"acupuncture combined with modern rehabilitation therapy in patients with hemiplegia due to cerebral infarction

Abstract
Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of combining the"Tongdu Tiaoshen"acupuncture method(hereinafter referred to as Tongtiao acupuncture method)with modern rehabilitation therapy in patients with hemiplegia due to cerebral infarction.Methods A total of 92 patients with cerebral infarction admitted to the Second People's Hospital of Hunan Province from June 2022 to December 2023 were selected as study subjects.They were randomly divided into control group(n=46)and treatment group(n=46)using a random number table.The control group received rehabilitation therapy,while the treatment group additionally received Tongtiao acupuncture therapy on base of control group's regimen.Both groups underwent a 4-week treatment course.Changes in the National Institute of Health stroke scale(NIHSS)and Fugl-Meyer motor assessment(FMA)scores before and after the treatment period were observed,along with alterations in the Brunnstrom motor function classification score(BMS)and modified Barthel index(MBI)scores.The overall efficacy rates between two groups were compared.Results Compared with pre-treatment levels,NIHSS,BMS,FMA,and MBI scores were improved post-treatment in both groups,with treatment group demonstrating significantly higher increases in all scores than the control group(P<0.05).The treatment group achieved a total response rate of 91.3%,markedly higher than control group(80.4%).Conclusion The combined application of Tongtiao acupuncture with modern rehabilitation therapy in patients with hemiplegia due to cerebral infarction can significantly enhance neurological function recovery,overall motor function restoration,and upper/lower limb motor rehabilitation on the affected side.关键词
