高职教育如何赋能区域科技创新?
How Can Higher Vocational Education Empower Regional Technological Innovation?

Abstract
Technological education and technological innovation in higher vocational education is of great significance for building a sound national innovation system and promoting the continuous advancement of scientific and technological innovation.In the strategic context of innovation-driven development and digital-intelligent transformation,higher vocational education,as the main provider of highly skilled talents,urgently needs a precise assessment of its effectiveness in regional technological innovation.Based on panel data from 30 provinces in China from 2012 to 2022,this study systematically examined the direct effects,transmission pathways,and boundary conditions of higher vocational education on regional technological innovation.The study found that higher vocational education has a robust direct promoting effect on regional technological innovation;however,the mechanisms are heterogeneous.Higher vocational education does not mediate through breakthrough innovation by enterprises but can produce positive indirect effects by suppressing low-end incremental innovation in enterprises,a pathway is moderated by the complexity of industrial technology.Therefore,it is suggested to precisely monitor the evolution of industrial technologies,optimize the layout of majors and curriculum systems,enhance vocational education's responsiveness and adaptability to technological changes,strengthen students'technical education and innovation capabilities,achieve structural alignment between talent training specifications and regional technological innovation needs,emphasize technical education in higher vocational education,promote the transformation of higher vocational education from skill supply to technical governance capability construction,and build a high-standard higher vocational education innovation ecosystem that dynamically aligns with regional industrial technologies.关键词
