针药结合治疗合并2型糖尿病的突聋患者74例疗效观察
Clinical efficacy of acupuncture-medicine combination in treatment of 74 patients with sudden sensorineural hearing loss complicated by type 2 diabetes mellitus

Abstract
Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of acupuncture-medicine combination in treatment of patients with sudden sensorineural hearing loss(SSNHL)complicated by type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM).Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted on the clinical data of 145 inpatients with SSNHL complicated by T2DM treated in the Department of Otolaryngology,Dongzhimen Hospital,Beijing University of Chinese Medicine,from July 2021 to July 2024.According to treatment methods,patients were divided into an observation group(74 cases)and a control group(71 cases).The control group received conventional treatment,while the observation group received acupuncture combined with Chinese medicine on the basis of conventional therapy.One treatment course lasted 14 days.Pure-tone hearing thresholds before and after treatment and post-treatment clinical efficacy were compared between the two groups.Results After treatment,pure-tone hearing thresholds improved significantly in both groups compared with baseline(P<0.001),and were significantly lower in the observation group than in the control group(P=0.035).There was a statistically significant difference in overall efficacy between the two groups(P=0.016).In the observation group,there was no significant difference in total effective rate among different TCM syndrome types(P>0.05).The total effective rates of the four audiometric curve types in the observation group were all higher than those in the control group;however,a statistically significant difference was observed only in the flat descending type(P=0.018).In addition,patients with accompanying tinnitus,ear fullness,and vertigo in the observation group showed higher total effective rates than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Acupuncture combined with Chinese medicine demonstrates significant clinical efficacy in patients with SSNHL complicated by T2DM and shows certain advantages over conventional treatment.关键词
