Abstract

Metal organic frameworks(MOFs)have promising application prospects on desiccant rotary air conditioning systems.Four kinds of MOFs,including MIL-101(Cr),HKUST-1,MOF-808 and UIO-66,were firstly prepared solvothermally and mechanochemically.Analyses were then conducted on the synthesized samples by X-ray diffractions(XRD),scanning electron microscopies(SEM),thermogravimetric(TG)curves as well as the adsorption data of nitrogen at-196℃.Measurements of the adsorption isotherms of water vapor and the hydro-stability of the samples were finally performed at 25℃within the relative pressure range P/P0=0-0.9.The results show that,among as-prepared samples,sample MIL-101(Cr)had the highest specific surface area and the largest micro-pore volume,as well as the largest adsorption amount of water vapor about 1.51 g/g,which is 5.8 times that of the commercial desiccant material.Meanwhile,the relative decrement in adsorption capacity on this MIL-101(Cr)sample within ten adsorption-desorption cycles of the water vapor is 3.8%,which is the smallest among the samples concerned.Selecting MIL-101(Cr)as a desiccant material for a rotary desiccant system is therefore preferable.
