Research Progress on Mammalian Target of Rapamycin Signaling Pathway in Regulation of Fish Nutrient Metabolism

Abstract
Mammalian target of rapamycin(mTOR)is an evolutionarily highly conserved core regulatory fac-tor,primarily responsible for regulating the growth and metabolic processes of animals.Recent studies have re-vealed that mTOR possesses the ability to sense upstream signals such as amino acids,growth factors and ener-gy status.Owing to its unique functions in nutrient sensing and metabolic regulation,the mTOR signaling path-way has attracted extensive attention from academia and become a core focus in aquatic animal nutrition re-search.This article systematically summarizes the latest regulatory mechanisms by which mTOR senses various nutrients in feed and mediates fish-related metabolism.By constructing the regulatory network between different dietary nutrients and the mTOR signaling pathway,we aim to elucidate the molecular mechanisms through which various nutrients regulate fish feeding,growth metabolism,and health maintenance via the mTOR signa-ling pathway.The study aims to link fish molecular nutrition with feed formulation and organismal health re-search,and provide a molecular basis and theoretical reference for optimizing fish feed formulations.[Chinese Journal of Animal Nutrition,2026,38(5):3161-3173]关键词
