Trends in the application of composable technologies for business design in energy enterprises

Abstract
Composable technology is an emerging architectural paradigm that encapsulates enterprise technologies,data,and business capabilities into standardized,reusable Packaged Business Capabilities(PBCs),and enables rapid application composition through visual orchestration.In energy enterprises,it enhances R&D efficiency by building technology PBCs,promotes data sharing and circulation through data PBCs,and enables the reuse of industrial knowledge by encapsulating mechanism models as PBCs.It has already been successfully applied in such enterprises as PetroChina,State Grid Corporation,and Schlumberger,supporting agile innovation and the accumulation of organizational capabilities.However,large-scale adoption still faces significant challenges including the complexity of integrating legacy systems,difficulties in data governance,misalignment between organizational structures and governance mechanisms,and the lack of unified industry ecosystem standards.Looking ahead,driven by advances in artificial intelligence,the ongoing assetization of digital capabilities,and the deepening of cross-domain collaboration,composable technology is expected to evolve into a new type of foundational infrastructure that supports full value-chain optimization and the development of industry-wide digital ecosystems in the energy industry.关键词
