Abstract
Epilepsy is a chronic brain disease caused by various etiologies,characterized by recurrent,paroxysmal,and transient dysfunction of the central nervous system due to excessive discharge of neurons in the brain.The five-zang organ theory is one of the basic theories of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM).The essence of TCM treatment lies in syndrome differentiation and treatment,adhering to the concept of the five zang-organs as an integral whole and the unity of body and spirit.Treating epilepsy from a holistic perspective,carrying out syndrome differentiation according to patients'individual characteristics,and conducting overall regulation on this basis could usually achieve satisfactory clinical efficacy.The author discussed the treatment of epilepsy from the five zang-organs,aiming to provide new ideas for the clinical treatment of epilepsy.关键词
