Treating Acid Reflux Based on"Spleen Qi Manifesting as Acid Regurgitation":An Exploration
摘要
Abstract
Guided by the theory of"the spleen manifests as acid regurgitation(Tun)"from the Suwen·Xuanming Wuqi Pian(Plain Questions·Chapter on the Manifestation of Five Qi),this study elucidates the etiology and pathogenesis of acid regurgitation(Tun Suan).It points out that the spleen being diseased is the root cause of acid regurgitation,and that spleen deficiency is the core of the pathogenesis at all stages of acid regurgitation;in clinical practice,the predominant pathological factor is cold,based on which the patterns are classified into spleen Qi deficiency,spleen Yang deficiency,spleen deficiency complicated by dampness retention,spleen and stomach stagnant heat,and liver hyperactivity with spleen insufficiency.During clinical differentiation and treatment,emphasis should be placed on the specific differences among Qi deficiency,Yang deficiency,dampness encumbrance,and food stagnation.While invigorating the spleen,adjunctive therapies such as clearing heat,resolving dampness,and eliminating food stagnation should be applied.By tailoring treatment to the identified pattern,thoroughly analyzing the pathogenesis,and addressing both root and branch,the strengths of traditional Chinese medicine in treating acid regurgitation can be fully utilized.关键词
