Application of SUN Guixiang's Theory of Yang-Tonifying and Fat-Reducing in Obese Polycystic Ovary Syndrome

Abstract
Polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS)is a prevalent gynecological endocrine and metabolic disor-der in women of reproductive age,often accompanied by obesity in clinical practice.Obesity further exacerbates endocrine disturbances in the body,accelerates the progression of PCOS,and increases the risk of long-term complications.With the accelerated pace of modern life and changes in living environments,PCOS has become one of the major endocrine diseases affecting women of childbearing age.Traditional Chinese medcine(TCM)presents unique advantages in the clinical treatment of this condition.Based on years of clinical experience and the core etiology and pathogenesis of traditional Chinese medicine,SUN Guixiang proposed the Theory of Yang-Tonifying and Fat-Reducing.This article discusses the clinical application of the above mentioned theory in the diagnosis and treatment of obese PCOS,which enriches the connotation of clinical syndrome differentiation and treatment in TCM,and possesses positive significance for improving the overall clinical efficacy of PCOS inter-vention.关键词
