Modeling of rare earth giant magnetostrictive transducers using an improved LTspice circuit model

Abstract
To address the limitations of traditional equivalent circuit models in accurately characterizing the inter-nal vibration behavior of transducers,a segmented equivalent circuit modeling method based on LTspice is pro-posed for the design and performance optimization of giant magnetostrictive transducers.Elastic components are segmented,and a multi-field coupled circuit model of the transducer is constructed to calculate the axial displace-ment distribution and impedance characteristics in air and water.The results show that the model predicts the reso-nant frequency with an error of less than 3%,and accurately identifies key parameters such as the displacement node at 31.75 mm and an amplitude ratio of 18.95.The calculated results are consistent with experimental mea-surements.Compared with the finite element method,the proposed model offers both structural visualization and high computational efficiency,providing an effective tool for transducer design and parameter optimization.关键词
