Abstract
Polyethylene(PE)is an ideal material for fabricating non-fluorinated separation membranes,owing to its chemical stability,low cost,and fluorine-free composition.PE microporous membranes are finding expanding applications in energy,environmental protection,and medicine.In this paper,the effects of casting solution composition and preparation process on the structure and properties of PE microporous membranes in thermally induced phase separation were systematically summarized.Subsequently,state-of-the-art strategies for hydrophilic modification and composite reinforcement techniques for PE membranes were critically discussed.Finally,the current challenges in PE microporous membranes fabrication were identified,and the future research directions were proposed.关键词
