2024年中国台湾花莲海域7.3级地震库仑应力影响分析
Coulomb Stress Impact from the M7.3 Earthquake in the Hualien Offshore Area of Taiwan,China in 2024

Abstract
The M7.3 earthquake in the Hualien offshore area of Taiwan,China,in 2024 was the first M7 event in the region following a 17-year quiescence of seismic activity at this magnitude,indicating a shift in the regional seismic pattern.This study collected a large number of focal mechanism solutions from Taiwan Island and its surrounding areas.Through inversion,the optimal rupture planes and auxiliary planes at 0.1°×0.1° grid points were obtained and used as receiver faults to calculate the static Coulomb stress changes caused by the M7.3 earthquake in the Hualien offshore area.The results show that the aftershock distribution corresponds well to areas significantly affected by Coulomb stress loading/unloading;there are two loading areas with Coulomb stress exceeding the threshold in the east and northeast of the epicenter,and the risk of moderate and strong earthquakes in the future increases.关键词
