泻火止痛针刺法联合脉冲射频治疗肩颈部急性带状疱疹性神经痛
Fire-Purging and Pain-Relieving Acupuncture Combined with Pulsed Radiofrequency in the Treatment of Acute Herpetic Neuralgia in the Shoulder and Neck

Abstract
Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of the fire-purging and pain-relieving acupuncture combined with pulsed radiofre-quency therapy in the treatment of acute herpetic neuralgia in the shoulder and neck.Methods:A total of 125 patients with acute herpet-ic neuralgia in the shoulder and neck were randomly divided into the combined group with 63 cases and the control group with 62 cases respectively using the random number table method.The control group received pulsed radiofrequency therapy alone,while the combined group received the fire-purging and pain-relieving acupuncture in addition to the pulsed radiofrequency therapy.Pain severity was as-sessed before and after treatment using evoked pain numerical rating scale(NRS)and the short-form mcgill pain questionnaire(SF-MPQ).Serum levels of substance P(SP),neuropeptide Y(NPY),5-hydroxytryptamine(5-HT),and calcitonin gene-related peptide(CGRP)were measured before and after treatment.Adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results:At various time points after treatment,NRS and SF-MPQ scores in both groups werelower than those before treatment,and the above scores in the com-bined group were lower than those in the control group,with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Post-treatment levels of SP,NPY,5-HT,and CGRP in both groups were decreased compared with pre-treatment levels,and the decreases in the combined group were greater than those in the control group,with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions was 15.87%in the combined group and 9.68%in the control group,with no statistically significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:Fire-purging and pain-relieving acupuncture combined with pulsed radiofrequency can effectively alleviate pain intensity and downregulate serum pain mediator levels in patients with acute herpetic neuralgia in the shoulder and neck.关键词
