摘要

Abstract

The aim of this study is to scientifically reveal the field production performance of different forage grasses.Five native forage grasses from Wuwei area and five introduced high-quality forage grasses were selected for field experiments,and the plant height,forage yield and seed yield of the forage grasses were investigated and analyzed.The results showed that in the first year of sowing,the fresh grass yield of old meadow foxtail was the highest,reaching 10.53 kg/m2,but the growth period was not completed that year.Leymus chinensis had the best comprehensive production performance,with a forage yield of 6.27 kg/m2 and a seed yield of 82.37 g/m2;Native pendulous needlegrass was second,with a forage yield of 3.77 kg/m2 and a seed yield of 76.02 g/m2;Western ice grass also had certain production advantages,with a forage yield of 1.73 kg/m2 and a seed yield of 59.04 g/m2.The study showed that considering multiple indicators comprehensively,native pendulous needlegrass,commercial Leymus chinensis and Western ice grass had better production performance in the first year of sowing in arid and semi-arid areas.
