基于异步牵伸的皮芯短纤纱及其织物性能研究
Study on the property of sheath-core staple yarn and its fabric based on differential-drafting

Abstract
To address the problems of insufficient strength and poor abrasion resistance in pure cotton yarns,a sheath-core staple yarn was developed using dual-channel differential-drafting technology in a ring-spinning system,in which colored cotton fibers were used to cover undyed polyester staple fibers.The properties of the sheath-core staple yarns&ring spun yarn and their knitted fabrics were tested and compared.The results showed that at the yarn level,the tensile property and abrasion resistance of the sheath-core staple yarns were superior to those of the pure cotton ring spun yarn,while the evenness and hairiness were inferior.The overall properties of the sheath-core yarn was improved as the core proportion increase.At the fabric level,the knitted fabrics made by sheath-core staple yarns exhibited better tensile property and abrasion resistance than the pure cotton ring spun yarn knitted fabric.In terms of color fastness to rubbing,when the core yarn proportion was reached 30%,the knitted fabric produced by sheath-core staple yarn performed better than the pure cotton ring spun yarn knitted fabric.It is considered that the developed sheath-core staple yarns using dual-channel differential-drafting technology in ring spinning offer clear structural advantages.The yarn performance not only was enhanced but also effectively was reduced,thereby lowering dyeing wastewater discharge from the source,and aligning with the requirements of green and sustainable development in the textile industry.关键词
