Abstract

To investigate the impact of blade deformation on the performance of a fish-friendly tubular pump under fluid-structure interaction,based on the ANSYS Workbench platform,a two-way fluid-structure interaction method was employed to jointly solve the internal flow field and impeller structure of a fish-friendly tubular pump.The deformation and stress of the impeller under the two-way fluid-structure interaction were analyzed.Meanwhile,a comparative analysis was conducted on the pump's hydraulic characteristics,impeller blade deformation and stress,blade surface load distribution,and internal flow characteristics before and after the two-way fluid-structure interaction.The research results show a slight increase in both head and efficiency after fluid-structure interaction.At the rim side of the blade leading edge,the deformation is greatest,and as the flow rate increases,the fluctua-tion of impeller deformation significantly decreases.The most significant stress concentration occurs at the hub side of the blade leading edge.As the flow rate increases,the peak equivalent stress value de-creases,and the dynamic stress fluctuations at the hub side of the blade leading edge are reduced.Af-ter the fluid-structure interaction,the fluctuation in load at the leading edge of the blade's back sur-face increases,while the load on the working surface of the blade is less affected by the coupling effect.Under low-flow conditions,the peak value of turbulence kinetic energy inside the impeller passage in-creases after the two-way fluid-structure interaction,and the gradient of turbulence kinetic energy at the blade tip also significantly increases.The research findings have certain reference value for the opti-mization and stable operation of fish-friendly tubular pump impellers.
