Abstract
The chairlift serves as one of the primary transport vehicles in ski passenger ropeways.As an open-type suspension device,it remains susceptible to wind loads during passenger transport.Unlike regularly shaped cabins,chairlifts feature complex geometries and variable seat cover configurations,rendering direct calculation of their windward area challenging.Through computational fluid dynamics simulations,the forces and swing angles experienced by chairlifts under varying wind directions and speeds were modeled.Furthermore,the swing angles generated by chairlifts of different masses under these forces were calculated.By optimizing the outer contour of the seat covers,several design improvements were explored to mitigate chairlift oscillation,offering insights for the safe operation of chairlift systems.关键词
