NaHCO3胁迫对荞麦种子萌发及幼苗生长的影响
Effects of NaHCO3 Stress on Seed Germination and Seedling Growth of Buckwheat

Abstract
To explore the effects of saline-alkali stress on seed germination and seedling growth of different buckwheat varieties,in this study,a sweet buckwheat variety Baiqiao 1 and a tartary buckwheat variety Yunqiao 1 were selected as experimental materials.Five concentrations of NaHCO3(alkaline salt)solution were set,including 10(T1),20(T2),30(T3),40(T4)and 50(T5)mmol/L for buckwheat seed stress treatment,and the non-stressed group was taken as the control(CK).Seed germination indices and seedling growth indices were determined.The results showed that under T4 treatment,Baiqiao 1 exhibited the highest germination rate,germination potential and germination index,which were 93.33%,93.33%and 62.60,respectively.While under T1 treatment,Baiqiao 1 had the highest vigor index,root length,root fresh weight and seedling fresh weight,with values of 9.46,12.70 mm,and 0.066,0.202 g correspondingly.For Yunqiao 1,the seedling fresh weight was relatively higher under T1 treatment,and all other indices reached the maximum under CK.The germination index under T3 treatment was significantly increased by 22.46%-28.85%in contrast to T1 and T2 treatments,and the root length was significantly higher than that under T4 and T5 treatments.Correlation analysis indicated that there were significantly or extremely significantly positive correlations among the early germination indices of buckwheat seeds,and an extremely significantly positive correlation was also observed among seedling growth indices.However,no significant correlation was found between vigor index,root length,root fresh weight and germination indices.Membership function analysis of the two buckwheat varieties revealed that the average membership function value of both varieties was the highest under CK.Appropriate increase in NaHCO3 solution concentration could promote seed germination of Baiqiao 1 and Yunqiao 1,while excessive concentration would severely inhibit seedling growth.In conclusion,Baiqiao 1 and Yunqiao 1 presented better comprehensive performance in seed germination and seedling growth under NaHCO3 stress at concentrations of 40 mmol/L and 30 mmol/L,respectively.关键词
