饮食因素与睡眠障碍风险的孟德尔随机化研究:基于大规模GWAS数据的因果推断
Mendelian randomization study of dietary factors and sleep disorder risk:causal inference based on large-scale GWAS data
摘要
Abstract
Objective:To investigate the relation between different dietary factors and sleep disorders. Methods:A two-sample Mendelian randomization(MR)analysis was conducted to investigate the causal relationship between 38 dietary factors(PMID:35653391)and sleep disorders(430 194 cases)in European populations.Potential causal associations between dietary factors and sleep disorders were assessed using inverse variance weighted(IVW),weighted median,MR-Egger,and weighted mode methods. Results:IVW analysis showed that fruit intake(OR=0.756,95%CI:0.643-0.883,P=0.001)and dried fruit intake(OR=0.550,95%CI:0.376-0.803,P=0.002;)were negatively associated with sleep disorders.Although the significance of dried fruit intake weakened after FDR correction, the conclusion was still supported by other methods(weighted median, weighted mode). No significant associations were observed for the intake of red meat, lamb,or fish. Conclusions:Fruit intake and dried fruit intake have a negative causal association with sleep disorders, suggesting a potential protective effect. This study provides genetic evidence for dietary interventions in sleep disorders, and future studies are needed to further validate the findings with biological mechanisms.关键词
