摘要

Abstract

[Objective]In the scheme comparison stage of railway survey and design,a large number of vertical alignment designs are required.Based on route selection principles for mountainous and urban areas,and in combination with the horizontal alignment,vertical alignments are proposed that meet regulatory requirements,satisfy the requirements of control points along the route,and align with design intent.When the grade difference at the points of vertical intersection is large and the vertical curve radius is small,the vertical curve has a significant impact on elevation correction,so it should be included in the study.[Methods]To effectively assist the design process and improve design efficiency,a railway vertical alignment model and solution algorithm were proposed.First,based on key design elements in vertical alignment,such as the maximum and minimum slope segment lengths,slope constraints,and elevation control,an integer linear programming model was established for optimizing railway vertical alignment.A quadratic constraint was introduced to describe the influence of vertical curves on elevation correction,further improving the integer programming model by incorporating this quadratic constraint.Second,since traditional solvers struggle to quickly solve models with quadratic constraints,a genetic algorithm was adopted as the solution method to adaptively determine the number,location,and elevation of points of vertical intersection.The genetic algorithm used a mileage/elevation representation.numerical experiments were conducted using real railway construction project data.[Results]The experimental results showed that the median computation time of the algorithm was 4.34 seconds,and it adaptively determined the number and location of points of vertical intersection while providing vertical alignment schemes that considered the effect of vertical curve correction and met regulatory and control point requirements.[Conclusion]The research findings can be further applied to assisted railway vertical alignment design,providing references for automatic vertical alignment design.
