Research progress on the immune mechanism and immunoprotection of tuberculosis subunit vaccines
摘要
Abstract
At present,Tuberculosis remains one of the most dangerous epidemic infectious diseases in the world.Its increasing incidence,particularly in recent years,poses a great threat to public health and human well-being.Vaccination is one of the most direct and effective means for the prevention and control of tubercu-losis.However,the only approved and widely used protective vaccine in clinical practice is Bacillus Calmette-Guérin(BCG),which has poor protective efficacy in adults.In contrast,subunit vaccines offer higher immuno-protection,safety,stability,and ease of standardization,presenting promising prospects for development.This article reviews the immune mechanism,effective components,research progress,and challenges of tuberculosis subunit vaccines.关键词
