摘要

Abstract

Avibacterium paragallinarum(Av.paragallinarum),the causative agent of infectious coryza in chickens,induces severe acute upper respiratory inflammation.This disease significantly compromises flock health,resulting in growth retardation,reduced egg production,and high mortality,leading to substantial economic losses in the poultry industry.In recent years,the prevalence of this disease in China has shown no significant decline,with the prevalence of serovar B continuing to rise,posing significant challenges to control efforts.Vaccination remains the cornerstone of prevention and control of this pathogen.However,the protective efficacy of commercial inactivated vaccines is of-ten limited due to antigenic mismatch between circulating field strains and vaccine strains.Therefore,there is an urgent need for expanding vaccine strain libraries or developing novel vaccines,such as genetically engineered vaccines,to address the challenge of antigenic heteroge-neity.This review comprehensively summarizes current research on Av.paragallinarum vaccines,including inactivated vaccines,attenuated live vaccines,subunit vaccines,and other vaccine types,aiming to provide valuable references for future vaccine development.
