Abstract
In recent years, the integration of culture, sports, and tourism in Northeast China has steadily advanced, driving sustained growth in urban tourism popularity.Traveling is more than just visiting a place;it is a profound cultural immersion in which travelers experience geographical landscapes, climatic features, and the cultural essence embedded in cuisine, language, and daily life. The region's distinctive dialect term"Qiěr,"which currently means"guest,"has given rise to a series of cultural practices centered around hospitality toward"Qiěr."Taking this colloquial word as its research subject and guided by Fei Xiaotong's theory of differential modes of association, this study analyzes and traces the term's linguistic origins, explores its historical-geographical evolution in the context of multi-ethnic integration, investigates its application in everyday scenarios, and examines its presence in modern mass media. The findings indicate that"Qiěr"encapsulates the cultural essence of Northeast China and serves as a living semiotic carrier. Its transmission and reinterpretation hold significant implications for fostering a sense of community for the Chinese nation.关键词
