Analysis of Acupoint Selection Patterns in Acupuncture and Moxibustion for Chronic Heart Failure Based on Data Mining Technology

Abstract
Objective:To analyze the acupoint selection patterns and characteristics of acupuncture and moxibustion for chronic heart failure(CHF)using data mining technology.Methods:Relevant literature was retrieved from databases including China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI),Wanfang Data Knowledge Service Platform,and China Science and Technology Journal Database(VIP)from their inception to May 31,2025.After screening,an acupuncture and moxibustion prescription database was established.The acupuncture and moxibustion prescriptions were standardized and subjected to data analysis to explore core acupoint selection patterns and characteristics.Results:A total of 84 articles were included,yielding 84 effective prescriptions involving 49 acupoints with a total frequency of 488.The high-frequency acupoints included Neiguan(PC6)point,Xinshu(BL15)point,Zusanli(ST36)point,Xuehai(SP10)point,Shenmen(HT7)point,and Danzhong(CV17)point.The commonly used meridians were the bladder meridian of foot-taiyang,pericardium meridian of hand-jueyin,conception vessel,spleen meridian of foot-taiyin,and stomach meridian of foot-yangming.Acupoints were mostly distributed on the limbs and back.Among specific acupoints,five transport points,back-shu points,and connecting points were frequently used.Cluster analysis identified three effective clusters:Xinshu(BL15)point-Danzhong(CV17)point,Shenshu(BL23)point,and Xuehai(SP10)point-Ximen(PC4)point-Neiguan(PC6)point-Zusanli(ST36)point-Shenmen(HT7)point-Sanyinjiao(SP6)point.Conclusion:The acupoint selection pattern for acupuncture and moxibustion in treating CHF reflects the principle of combined selection of distal and proximal acupoints with emphasis on the pericardium meridian.The core acupoint combination is Neiguan(PC6)point-Xinshu(BL15)point-Zusanli(ST36)point,with particular attention to the use of specific acupoints such as five transport points,back-shu points,and connecting points.关键词
