摘要

Abstract

Review of Methods for Determining Total Nitrogen in Water:Providing References for the Establishment of Water Quality Monitoring Standards and Improvement of Detection Techniques Through literature analysis,this paper compares the principles,operational procedures,and performance characteristics of methods such as UV spectrophotometry,flow injection analysis,gas-phase molecular absorption spectrometry,azo-colorimetry,ion chromatography,high-performance liquid chromatography,and chemiluminescence.Various methods exhibit distinct performance in terms of detection limits,linear ranges,precision,and accuracy.The methods for determining total nitrogen in water are diverse and should be selected based on actual needs.Future efforts should focus on simplifying methods,reducing costs,and enhancing environmental friendliness to promote the widespread application of water quality monitoring technologies.
