Abstract

Aims:Aiming at the problems of complex procedures,poor process controllability and insufficient stability of regeneration effect in the regeneration process of metal-organic framework@activated carbon(MOF@AC)composites,an efficient and automated regeneration method and devices were developed.Methods:A fully automatic regeneration device based on a vertical double-jacket reactor structure was developed,which integrated multifunctional modules such as temperature control,condensation,vacuum control,solvent separation and recovery,and programmable logic controller(PLC)automatic control.The device could automatically implement the integrated regeneration process of"solvent reflux desorption-in-situ separation and recovery-vacuum thermal drying"in a closed environment.Results:The desorption rate of benzene series pollutants by MOF@AC reached more than 85%under this process.The structure of the regenerated material remained intact without obvious collapse or blockage of the pore structure,indicating that the process caused minor damage to the material structure and exhibited excellent cycling stability.Conclusions:The highly efficient and controllable automated regeneration process and supporting device for MOF@AC developed in this study provide reliable technical support for the industrial application of MOF@AC composites.
