3级高血压患者E/e'比值与预后的相关性
Correlation between E/e'ratio and prognosis in patients with stage 3 hypertension

Abstract
Objective To investigate the relationship between the ratio of early diastolic mitral inflow velocity to the average early diastolic mitral annular tissue velocity at the septal and lateral walls(E/e'ratio)and prognosis in patients with grade 3 hypertension.Methods A total of 500 patients with grade 3 hypertension who visited the Heart Center of the First Hospital of Hebei Medical Univer-sity from January 1,2022,to January 1,2024,were selected.Based on the E/e'ratio measured using echocardiography,patients were divided into the normal(<8),intermediate(8-14),and elevated(>14)groups.The left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF),left ventricular end-diastolic dimension(LVEDD),left ventricular end-systolic dimension(LVESD),left atrial anteroposterior diameter(LAD),and inter-ventricular septal thickness(IVS)were assessed in the three groups.Patients were followed up for major adverse cardiac and cerebrovas-cular events(MACCE;including cardiac death,myocardial infarction,heart failure,transient ischemic attack,cerebral infarction,and cerebral hemorrhage)within 1 year.Results Comparisons of LVEF,LVEDD,LVESD,LAD,and IVSD among the three groups showed statistically significant differences(all P<0.05).Pairwise comparisons revealed that the elevated group showed statistically significant dif-ferences in the above parameters compared with the normal and intermediate groups(all P<0.05).The incidence of total MACCE among the three groups was statistically significant(P<0.001).Kaplan-Meier survival curve analysis revealed that the cumulative survival rate of the elevated group was significantly lower than that of the normal and intermediate groups(P<0.001).Logistic regression analysis showed that the incidence of MACCE within 1 year was only associated with the E/e'ratio(OR=5.468,95%CI:1.909-15.657,P=0.002),and that E/e'>14 was an independent risk factor for the occurrence of MACCE within 1 year in patients with grade 3 hypertension.Conclusion The E/e'ratio is significantly associated with the prognosis of patients with grade 3 hypertension.关键词
