摘要
Abstract
Objective:To evaluate the safety and efficacy of ultrasound-guided percutaneous catheter drainage(US-PCD)in treating psoas muscle abscess(PMA).Methods:A retrospective analysis was conducted on clinical data of 21 patients with PMA who underwent US-PCD at Beijing Friendship Hospital during August 2017 and March 2025.The success rate of technique, relief situation of clinical symptom, relief situation of laboratory indicators, indwelling time of catheter, total hospital stay, and related complications were recorded and analyzed. Results:All 21 patients successfully completed US-PCD,and the success rate of surgery was 100%.The mean follow-up time was(29.7±30.6)months.The preoperative white blood cell count of all patients was(11.7±4.8)×109/L,and it decreased respectively to(7.8±3.8)×109/L,(7.2±3.4)×109/L,and(6.1±3.2)×109/L at the 1st,3rd,and 7th day after surgery, all of which significantly decreased than those before surgery, and the differences of them between before and after surgery were significant(t=2.376,2.739,4.105,P<0.05).The preoperative mean body temperature was(38.2±1.1)℃,and it decreased respectively to(37.2±0.7)℃,(36.9±0.7)℃,and(36.6±0.6)℃at the 1st d,3rd d,and 7th day after surgery, and the differences were statistically significant(t=2.731,3.430,4.667,P<0.05).C-reactive protein(CRP)levels at the 3rd d and 7th day after surgery were significantly lower than those before surgery, with statistically significant differences(Z=2.286,3.629,P<0.05).The mean indwelling time of catheter of all patients was(16.9±12.5)days,and the mean hospital stay was(25.0±15.3)days.The incidence of main complications included transient low-grade fever(3 cases)and bleeding at puncture site(1 case). There was no severe complications such as intestinal injury or massive hemorrhage.Conclusion:US-PCD technique has a series of advantages, including accurate positioning, minimal invasion,a few of complications and accurate therapeutic effect,in treating PMA,which is a safe and effective minimally invasive treatment.关键词
