Abstract
The"five Zang-organ interconnection"theory,proposed by Chinese medicine master DENG Tietao on the basis of the"five Elements"theory,profoundly reveals the core connotation of holistic interconnection and viscera interaction in Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM),representing an innovation and development of classical TCM theory.Macular edema secondary to retinal vein occlusion(RVO-ME)is a common complication of clinical fundus diseases,characterized by rapid onset and significant visual impairment.Although intravitreal injection is widely used in modern medicine,some patients still show poor response after repeated treatments.PENG Qinghua,inheriting the academic thoughts of Master DENG Tietao,flexibly applies the method of activating blood and promoting diuresis based on the"five Zang-organ interconnection"theory in the treatment of RVO-ME,achieving satisfactory clinical efficacy.This article aims to inherit and develop the"five Zang-organ interconnection"theory,systematically elucidating its guiding value in the pathogenesis analysis and treatment of RVO-ME,and providing supporting evidence with one typical medical record,so as to offer a useful reference for the TCM differentiation and treatment of RVO-ME.关键词
