Rheumatoidarthritis-associated interstitial lung disease:Current research landscape on epidemiology and risk factors

Abstract
Rheumatoid arthritis-associated interstitial lung disease(RA-ILD)is a common and severe extra-articular complication of rheumatoid arthritis that significantly increases patient mortality.In recent years,with the application of high-resolution computed tomography,the detection rate of subclinical cases has been rising,and its global epidemiology demonstrates notable regional heterogeneity.The pathogenesis of RA-ILD is complex,characterized by subtle early clinical manifestations and rapid disease progression.Accurately identif-ying associated risk factors is a crucial step in improving patient prognosis.This article systematically reviews the latest research progress on the epidemiological characteristics of RA-ILD and the risk factors associated with its onset and progression,from the perspectives of genetic susceptibility,sociodemographics and lifestyle,clini-cal features,serological biomarkers,and clinical medications.This review aims to provide valuable insights for early screening,risk stratification,and personalized treatment of the disease,facilitating a paradigm shift in clinical management towards proactive"risk interception".关键词
