小青龙汤合柴朴汤治疗感染后咳嗽的临证运用
Clinical Application of Xiaoqinglong Decoction Combined with Chaipu Decoction in the Treatment of Post-infectious Cough

Abstract
[Objective]To summarize the clinical application experience of Xiaoqinglong Decoction combined with Chaipu Decoction in the treatment of post-infectious cough(PIC).[Methods]Analyze the pathogenesis of PIC,the medication characteristics of Xiaoqinglong Decoction combined with Chaipu Decoction,and the characteristics of using combined classical prescriptions to treat PIC,summarize the treatment ideas and experience from clinical practice,and attach a medical case for verification.[Results]PIC patients present with unresolved external cold,failure of the lung to disperse and descend,intermingling of phlegm and blood stasis,disharmony of Qi movement between the liver and the lung,and lingering residual pathogens,forming a pathological pattern intertwined with"wind,phlegm,stasis and stagnation",often manifesting as syndromes of intermingled cold and heat as well as disorder of Qi movement.Xiaoqinglong Decoction relieves exterior syndrome and resolves fluid retention,dispelling external cold and eliminating latent phlegm;Chaipu Decoction soothes the liver and clears heat,regulating Qi movement and resolving stagnant fire.The combination of the two prescriptions exerts the effects of relieving both exterior and interior syndromes,regulating the liver and the lung,resolving phlegm and removing stasis.The presented PIC medical case showed that although the patient had a long course of disease and diverse symptoms,manifestations of unresolved external cold,intermingled phlegm and blood stasis,and disharmony between the liver and the lung can be observed.With the treatment principle of relieving both exterior and interior syndromes and regulating the liver and the lung,various symptoms were relieved after treatment.[Conclusion]The combined use of classical prescriptions in the treatment of PIC characterized by intermingled cold and heat and disorder of Qi movement often achieves better clinical efficacy,which also emphasizes the importance of flexible application of classical prescriptions,has innovative value and is worthy of promotion.关键词
