Abstract
Objective:To analyze the incidence of catheter-related bloodstream infections(CRBSI)and associated factors among patients undergoing long-term maintenance hemodialysis.Method:Clinical data of 142 end-stage renal disease patients undergoing long-term maintenance hemodialysis at Putian 95th Hospital from February 2023 to May 2025 were retrospectively analyzed.Patients were grouped into the infection group and the non-infection group based on whether they developed CRBSI,and the related influencing factors were analyzed through univariate and multivariate analyses.Result:Among 142 maintenance hemodialysis patients,26 developed CRBSI.Univariate analysis revealed that gender,body mass index,hypertension,and catheter insertion site were not associated with CRBSI occurrence in long-term hemodialysis patients with end-stage renal disease(P>0.05).Age,diabetes,catheter indwelling duration,implanted catheter type,and adherence to aseptic technique standards were significantly associated with CRBSI occurrence(P<0.05).Using CRBSI occurrence as the dependent variable and the aforementioned statistically significant factors as independent variables,multivariate analysis revealed that age>60 years,diabetes mellitus,catheter indwelling duration>2 weeks,long-term catheter type,and non-standard aseptic technique were independent risk factors for CRBSI in long-term maintenance hemodialysis patients(P<0.05).Conclusion:The risk of CRBSI remains high among patients undergoing maintenance hemodialysis.Clinicians should implement preventive interventions tailored to relevant risk factors to reduce infection risk.关键词
