Exploration on the Regulation of Lung Cancer through Short-Chain Fatty Acids Based on the Theory of"Lung and Large Intestine Being Internally-Exteriorly Related"
摘要
Abstract
The incidence and mortality rates of lung cancer remain the highest among all cancers.Although advances have been made in Western medical treatments,limitations still exist due to adverse reactions and drug resistance.The Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)theory of"the lung and large intestine being interiorly-exteriorly related"is associated with the modern medical concept of the"lung-gut axis."It is well-established that both gut microbiota and short-chain fatty acids(SCFAs)are closely linked to the occurrence and progression of lung cancer.This study aims to explore the feasibility and effectiveness of intervening in lung cancer based on the"lung and large intestine being interiorly-exteriorly related"theory from the perspective of SCFAs.The importance of SCFAs in lung cancer treatment and prognosis will be analyzed.A new strategy for intervening in lung cancer by regulating intestinal SCFA levels will be proposed,providing new ideas and methods for comprehensive treatment and prognostic improvement of lung cancer.关键词
