分子标记辅助选择改良水稻恢复系OM052的食味与多抗性
Improvement of eating quality and multiple resistance in rice restorer line OM052 via marker-assisted selection

Abstract
[Objective]This study aimed to simultaneously improve the poor eating quality and weak multiple resistance of the restorer line OM052 in hybrid rice.[Method]Using a backcross breeding procedure,the low-amylose content gene Wxb,the fragrance content gene badh2.1,the bacterial blight resistance genes Xa21 and Xa27,the blast resistance gene Pi9,and the submergence tolerance gene Sub1A were introduced into OM052 via marker-assisted selection.[Result]The newly improved restorer line R371 and its hybrid combination 1892S/R371 exhibited significantly reduced amylose content and a distinct fragrance.Inoculation tests demonstrated strong re-sistance to both bacterial blight and blast in the improved progenies;they resumed normal growth after 14 days of complete submergence,indicating robust submergence tolerance.Field comparison trials showed that R371 and its hybrid achieved synergistic enhancement of eating quality and multiple resistance without significant yield reduction.[Conclusion]R371 is a novel restorer line that integrates fragrant-soft grain quality,multiple resistances,and high yield potential,providing an excellent germplasm for breeding green and high-quality hybrid rice.关键词
