摘要

Abstract

[Significance]China possesses extensive vegetable cultivation areas with remarkable crop species diversity.Over the long term,weeds have consistently posed a significant biological threat to the vegetable indus-try.This article aims to systematically sort out the occurrence and control status of weeds in Chinese vegetable fields,providing theoretical references for their scientific managements.[Progress]In terms of control technolo-gies,an integrated weed management system has been established,encompassing cultural practices(such as opti-mal sowing timing,appropriate planting density,crop rotation,and mulching),physical methods(including plastic mulching,flame and steam weeding,and intelligent mechanical weeding),biological control,and chemical con-trol.However,several challenges persist,including a limited selection of available herbicides,frequent occur-rences of herbicide damage,the evolution of herbicide resistance,and insufficient extension of advanced weed control technologies for weed control in vegetable fields.[Prospect]This paper provides a concise overview of the current status of weed infestations in vegetable fields across China and recent advances in control technologies.It identifies and refines key scientific issues in current weed management practices and proposes corresponding strategies along with effective control recommendations.
