Treatment of dysmenorrhea through identification of the only core symptom hidden in many symptoms by Tong Xiaolin
摘要
Abstract
Dysmenorrhea is a common gynecological disorder in clinical practice,primarily characterized by lower abdominal pain and distension before,during,or after menstruation,with severe symptoms affecting patients'daily life and work.Western medicine often adopts symptomatic treatments such as pain relief,which can temporarily alleviate symptoms but may lead to recurrence after discontinuation.Based on Professor Tong Xiaolin's theory of identifying"Du Cang"(the only core symptom hidden among many symptoms),the treatment targetes the distinctive symptom complex of"coldness in the waist and abdomen,a dark tongue,and a pale-yellow,thick,greasy tongue coating"among the multifaceted manifestations of dysmenorrhea due to cold-dampness stagnation and internal blood stasis obstruction.Modified Guizhi Fuling Pill is prescribed to warm the meridians and dispel cold,resolve dampness and unblock stagnation,and promote blood circulation and remove blood stasis,achieving satisfactory clinical efficacy.关键词
