人参-三七药对配伍理论及应用探析
Analysis of the compatibility theory and application of Ginseng and Notoginseng herb pair

Abstract
Ginseng excels at greatly tonifying primordial qi,recovering the pulse to prevent collapse,and fortifying the spleen to benefit the lungs,earning its reputation as the"foremost herb for replenishing qi."Panax notoginseng excels at dissipating stasis,stopping bleeding,reducing swelling,and relieving pain,earning its reputation as the"sage herb for blood disorders."The combination of these two herbs,one tonifying qi and the other promoting blood circulation,one supporting healthy qi and the other dispelling stasis,forms a classic herb pair structure for replenishing qi and activating blood,unblocking collaterals and alleviating pain,and resolving blood stasis to promote tissue regeneration.This pairing profoundly embodies the core theories of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)regarding"qi as the commander of blood,blood as the mother of qi"and the"mutual generation and interaction between qi and blood."Ginseng and Notoginseng herb pair not only synergistically exerts the core effects of replenishing qi to control blood and activating blood to relieve pain,but also embodies the essence of compatibility principles such as"qi movement promoting blood circulation,and free blood flow facilitating qi flow,""simultaneously applying unblocking and tonifying methods to treat both manifestation and root cause of disease,"and"resolving stasis without damaging healthy qi,stopping bleeding without retaining stasis."Therapeutically,this pairing achieves an organic unity and dynamic balance between tonifying qi to support vital energy and activating blood circulation to remove stasis.In terms of treatment principles,it accomplishes the coordination and integration of"treating the manifestation in acute cases"and"treating the fundamental root cause in chronic cases,"as well as"supporting the healthy qi to consolidate the foundation"and"eliminating pathogenic factors to unblock the collaterals."Based on the core pathogenesis of qi deficiency and blood stasis,this herb pair can be widely used in many diseases such as internal medicine,surgery,gynecology,orthopedics,ophthalmology,and otorhinolaryngology through flexible compatibility of herbs such as tonifying qi,nourishing blood,cooling blood,regulating qi,resolving phlegm,unblocking collaterals,and tonifying the kidney.Its main indications encompass chest impediment and heart pain,the recovery stage of stroke,various bleeding syndromes due to qi deficiency failing to contain blood or blood stasis obstructing the collaterals,traumatic injuries,fractures and tendon damage,consumptive fatigue and emaciation,abdominal masses and lumps,as well as diabetic vascular complications,and qi deficiency and blood stasis patterns following tumor radiotherapy and chemotherapy.关键词
