摘要

Abstract

The hybrid DC transmission system with a series topology of diode rectifier unit(DRU)and modular multilevel converter(MMC)has great economic advantages and has good application prospects in the transmission system of renewable energy bases.First,this paper introduces a hybrid DC topology suitable for offshore wind power transmission systems and control strategies for the sending and receiving ends.In order to solve the power imbalance problem of offshore wind power,DRU and MMC during steady-state operation,two submodule average voltage control strategies are proposed.Then,a collaborative start-stop process between the sending-and receiving-end converters and the offshore wind power system is proposed.The influence of offshore wind power and switching time of DRU AC/DC switch state on the capacitor voltage rise of the sending-end module is analyzed during the start-stop process.Finally,a PSCAD/EMTDC simulation model of diode hybrid DC is constructed to verify the effectiveness of the proposed steady-state operation and start-stop strategy.
