吐鲁番大草湖细眼高原鳅寄生管状胃瘤线虫的流行规律研究
A study on the epidemiology of Eustrongylides tubifex in Triplophysa microphthalm from Dacao Lake,Turpan

Abstract
The monthly surveys were conducted from March to August 2024,to elucidate the infection dy-namics of Eustrongylides tubifex in Triplophysa microphthalma inhabiting Dacaohu Lake,Turpan,Xinjiang.We ana-lyzed host biological traits and parasite infection patterns using statistical and modeling approaches.The overall infection prevalence of E.tubifex was 12.29%,with a mean abundance of 1.17±0.12 and a mean intensity of 9.56±0.81,indicating aggregated distribution within the host population.A negative binomial generalised linear mixed model(GLMM)identified host body length as the strongest predictor of parasite burden(IRR=2.54,P<0.001),with infection risk peaking significantly in May and June.These findings clarify the epidemiological profile of E.tubifex in this system,highlighting body size and seasonal variation as pivotal drivers of infection dy-namics.This study provides foundational data for the eco-epidemiology of E.tubifex and supports conservation and disease management strategies for T.microphthalma and potential avian definitive hosts in arid wetland ecosys-tems.We underscore that these results reflect infection patterns in fish hosts only,with no direct evidence of cur-rent zoonotic transmission.关键词
