摘要

Abstract

As a crucial microbiome intervention strategy, fecal microbiota transplantation(FMT)demonstrates significant potential in modulating the composition and function of porcine gut microbiota.FMT plays a key role in preventing and controlling post-weaning diarrhea, improving growth performance, and enhancing meat quality via multiple pathways, including reshaping the gut microbial community structure, regulating intestinal metabolic profiles, enhancing intestinal barrier integrity, and modulating host immune responses.Although current FMT technology still faces challenges such as insufficient standardization and unverified long-term safety, with the continuous advancement of microbiome technologies,FMT holds broad prospects for application in livestock production. Therefore,a thorough understanding and precise application of FMT hold the potential to drive innovative developments in pig health management and precision breeding from a microbial perspective. This paper systematically reviewed the mechanisms through which FMT influences porcine gut microbiota and the research progress of its application in swine production.Additionally, the application value of porcine-derived FMT in constructing xenotransplantation models was discussed, aiming to offer a new strategic direction for enhancing sustainability of livestock production.
