Effect of moxibustion combined with traditional Chinese medicine massage on functional dyspepsia of spleen and stomach weakness in children based on Zhongwan point and its effect on intestinal flora

Abstract
Objective To explore the therapeutic effect of moxibustion at Zhongwan point combined with traditional Chinese medicine massage on functional dyspepsia(FD)in children with spleen and stomach weak-ness and its effect on intestinal flora.Methods A total of 102 children with FD admitted to the Second Affilia-ted Hospital of Xingtai Medical University from March 2024 to March 2025 were selected as the research ob-jects,and they were divided into observation group and control group by random number table method,with 51 cases in each group.The control group was treated with TCM massage,and the observation group was trea-ted with moxibustion at Zhongwan point on the basis of the control group.The TCM syndrome score,clinical efficacy,Nepin dyspepsia index(NDI),Bristol stool form score(BSFS)and intestinal flora changes were com-pared between the two groups before and after treatment.The occurrence of adverse reactions during treat-ment in the two groups was counted.Results After treatment,the epigastric pain or fullness,liking warmth and pressing,vomiting water,eating less or not eating,fatigue,tepid hands and feet,loose stool,TCM syn-drome scores of tongue and pulse,total score of main symptoms,total score of secondary symptoms,total score of NDI,BSFS,and the levels of Enterobius and yeast like bacteria in the two groups were lower than those before treatment,and those in the observation group were lower than those in the control group and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,the levels of Lactobacillus and Bifidobac-terium and the ratio of Bifidobacterium to Enterobacteriaceae in the two groups were higher than those before treatment,and the observation group was higher than the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was 94.12%,which was higher than 80.39%of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups during treatment(P>0.05).Conclusion Moxibustion at Zhongwan point combined with traditional Chinese medicine massage in the treatment of FD in children with spleen-stomach weakness can effectively reduce the clinical syndrome score,improve the distribution of intestinal beneficial bacteria,improve intestinal function and improve the quality of life of children,and the combined effect is better than single therapy.关键词
