Research on Intelligent Monitoring and Early Warning of Subgrade under Extreme Rainfall Based on BDS+IoT

Abstract
To obtain the stability of subgrade under continuous heavy rainfall and conduct real-time intelligent monitoring and early warning,this study analyzed the stability of a road subgrade in western Hunan mountainous area under rainfall infiltration.It proposed a monitoring and early warning threshold for subgrade slope displacement under extreme rainfall and implemented intelligent subgrade monitoring and early warning using technologies such as Internet of Things(IoT)and BeiDou Satellite(BDS)positioning.The results show that:rainfall significantly affects subgrade slope stability,with internal pore water pressure continuously increasing as rainfall infiltrates,accompanied by a gradual expansion of transient saturated zones.Under prolonged heavy rain conditions,the safety factor of subgrade slopes declines rapidly.The proposed relationships among the stability factor,stability state,horizontal displacement at the platform,and warning level provide a reliable basis for setting displacement monitoring and warning thresholds.Through IoT,BDS positioning,cloud platform,and other technologies,real-time intelligent monitoring of subgrade is achieved during extreme rainfall.The triggered warnings effectively prompt on-site personnel to conduct checks,treatments,and verifications,aiding in timely hazard identification and avoiding decision-making delays.This can serve as a reference for ensuring subgrade safety in areas frequently affected by extreme rainfall.关键词
