Energy-Saving Evaluation of Smart Windows Based on Spectral Splitting of Cu2+Solutions

Abstract
To address the problems of high haze in summer and weak dynamic control ability of existing thermochromic smart windows,a smart window based on spectral splitting of Cu2+solutions was proposed,and the directional absorption characteristics of Cu2+ions in near-infrared solar radiation were used to achieve the spectral splitting between visible light and near-infrared rays.At the same time,using a peristaltic pump to drive the ion solution,dynamic control of solar radiation in winter and summer was achieved.Through theoretical analysis and experimental measurement,the new-type windows have high visible light transmittance(51.4%),excellent solar modulation capability(73.6%),and low haze(<0.5%).Combining indoor and outdoor experimental research,the smart windows based on spectral splitting of Cu2+solutions can reduce indoor air temperature by 1~5℃,and the stronger the solar radiation,the more significant the energy-saving effect.Besides,the energy-saving performance in sunny days is superior to that in cloudy days,and the average indoor temperature is reduced by 2.8℃.关键词
