论人与自然和谐共生的现代化对西方生态现代化理论的超越
On How Modernization Featuring Harmony Between Humanity and Nature Transcends Western Ecological Modernization Theory

Abstract
Western ecological modernization theory is an intellectual trend formed within capitalist industrial civilization in response to increasingly severe ecological crises and in an attempt to mediate the contradiction between economic growth and eco-environmental protection.Although this theory advocates a development view that seeks win-win outcomes between economic growth and eco-environmental protection,upholds a technology view grounded in instrumental rationality,and maintains a governance view characterized by pluralistic collaboration,it has not,at the theoretical level,resolved the philosophical questions concerning the authentic existential relationship between humanity and nature and the ultimate good.Nor has it,at the practical level,broken through the framework of the capitalist system or found a fundamental solution to the global ecological crisis.Modernization featuring harmony between humanity and nature has achieved a transcendence from dualistic opposition between humanity and nature to their monistic unity,from human social freedom to freedom grounded in the harmonious coexistence of humanity and nature,and from the pursuit of human well-being alone to the coexistence and co-prosperity of humanity and nature.It thus presents theoretical connotations fundamentally different from those of Western ecological modernization.In practice,by breaking the opposition between economic development and eco-environmental protection and implementing the"Two Mountains"concept,by overcoming the fetters of capital as the dominant subject and upholding the principal status of the people,and by moving beyond Western-centrism and advancing a community with a shared future for mankind,modernization featuring harmony between humanity and nature has transcended the path dependence of Western ecological modernization.It is more scientific,rational,and legitimate,and can actively guide the development and progress of human civilization.关键词
