Abstract
Based on the resource constraint perspective,this study examines how innovation input im-pacts supply chain resilience(SCR)among listed Chinese SMEs(2013-2023).The findings indicate that although innovation input significantly enhances SCR,the associated intangible assets generate a"suppression effect"by crowding out liquidity and thus masking part of the positive returns.Further analysis demonstrates that government support strengthens this positive link,while intense market competition weakens it.Additionally,we find the resilience enhancing effect is stage dependent:it is significant in mature and declining firms but absent in start-up or growth stages.These results offer empirical insights into the strategic balance between survival and innovation.关键词
