Latent Profile Analysis and Influencing Factor Study of Fertility Knowledge Mastery in Females of Childbearing Potential with Inflammatory Bowel Disease

Abstract
Objective To explore the characteristics of fertility knowledge mastery in females of childbearing potential with inflammatory bowel disease(IBD)across latent classes and analyze the population heterogeneity and influencing factors across classes,aiming to provide empirical evidence for developing personalized and precise reproductive health education programs.Methods From June to August 2024,219 female IBD patients of childbearing potential were selected by convenience sampling from the gastroenterology wards and IBD daycare biological diagnosis and treatment centers at one Grade Ⅲ-A hospital and one Grade Ⅱ-A hospital in Shanghai.They were investigated using the General Information Questionnaire,the Chinese version of the Crohn's and Colitis Pregnancy Knowledge Score(CCPKnow),the Perceived Social Support from Family(PSS-Fa),and the Social Support Rating Scale(SSRS).Latent profile analysis was conducted to explore latent classes of fertility knowledge mastery in female IBD patients of childbearing potential.Logistic regression analysis was employed to identify influencing factors.Results The CCPKnow score of the 219 female IBD patients of childbearing potential was 7.00(4.00,10.00)points.Latent profile analysis revealed three latent classes:comprehensive knowledge deficiency(61 subjects,27.85％),preconception knowledge improvement(78 subjects,35.62％),and optimal knowledge across multiple fertility stages(80 subjects,36.53％).Logistic regression analysis indicated that PSS-Fa score,SSRS score,age,disease course,medication use,and reproductive history were independent factors influencing latent profiles of fertility knowledge mastery in female IBD patients of childbearing potential(P<0.05).Conclusion The fertility knowledge mastery in female IBD patients of childbearing potential is generally at a moderate level,with significant population heterogeneity.IBD nurse specialists should develop stratified interventions and targeted health education plans based on population characteristics to enhance patients'fertility knowledge,improve their perinatal health management abilities,and support their willingness to make autonomous fertility decisions.关键词
