The impact of ecological risk and ecosystem health on cultural ecosystem services in the Sanjiangyuan National Park

Abstract
Clarifying the mechanisms linking ecological risk,ecosystem health,and cultural ecosystem services(CESs)is essential for synergistically enhancing ecological and social values in national parks.Taking the Sanjiangyuan National Park(SNP)as a case study,this research integrated multi-source geospatial data,socio-economic statistics,and user-generated content to quantitatively assess the spatial patterns of four CESs categories:recreation,aesthetic,biodiversity,and socio-cultural services.Using Boosted Regression Trees(BRT)and Partial Least Squares Path Modeling(PLS-PM),we systematically examined the direct and indirect pathways through which ecological risk and ecosystem health influenced CESs.The results indicated that:(1)Recreation services were generally high across the SNP,aesthetic services exhibited a patchy and interspersed distribution,while biodiversity and socio-cultural services showed a spatial pattern of higher values in the east and lower in the west;(2)Ecosystem health had a significant positive correlation with CESs and demonstrated higher relative importance than ecological risk,with Vigor and Resilience being the two most influential factors;(3)Ecological risk primarily affected CESs indirectly through ecosystem health,highlighting the key mediating role of ecosystem health in mitigating external pressures and enhancing service provision.This study revealed a"risk-health-service"cascade mechanism and elucidated the linkage between ecological and social values in national parks,providing a theoretical basis and practical pathways for harmonizing ecological security and cultural service supply.关键词
