玉米淀粉代谢相关基因ZmSMGs的全基因组鉴定及表达分析
Whole-genome identification and expression analysis of starch metabolism-related genes ZmSMGs in maize

Abstract
[Objective]The paper aimed to identify starch metabolism-related genes in maize and analyze their bioinformatics and expression patterns,so as to better understand the genetic mechanisms and regulatory networks of starch metabolism in maize,providing gene resources for the breeding of high-quality and high-yield maize varieties.[Method]Based on the genome data of maize,whole-genome identification of starch metabolism-related genes(ZmSMGs)was conducted using bioinformatics technology,analyzing and predicting their gene structure,protein properties,phylogenetic relationships,chromosomal localization,gene duplication and cis-acting elements.The expression patterns of ZmSMGs genes were analyzed in different tissues and under various abiotic stresses based on transcriptome data.The expression of the candi-date gene ZmSMGs in maize was validated using real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR(qRT-PCR).[Result]A total of 86 ZmSMGs genes were identified in the maize genome,they were unevenly distributed across 10 chromosomes,and collinearity analysis revealed 21 fragment du-plication events.The number of amino acids in this family member ranged from 128 to 1674 aa,with protein molecular weight ranging from 1.22 to 18.84 kDa,and the theoretical isoelectric point ranged from 4.66 to 10.04,with mostly exhibiting acidic characteristics.Phylogenetic analysis classified these genes into ten subfamilies,with members within different subfamilies exhibiting similar gene structures.Cis-acting el-ement analysis revealed that the promoters of ZmSMGs contained multiple cis-acting elements related to stress response,hormone signaling,and growth regulation.We predicted that the ZmAGPS1 family may be important regulatory factors involved in hormone signaling pathways and various stress responses.Transcriptome data analysis revealed that the expression of some ZmSMGs genes exhibited specific characteris-tics,with different genes exhibiting distinct expression profiles in various tissues and under different abiotic stress conditions.qRT-PCR ana-lysis showed that the expression patterns of ZmSMGs genes during grain development exhibited significant differences.Among them,ZmDPE2.1,ZmAGPL2.4,ZmAGPL3,ZmGBSS1.6 and ZmAMY2.1 were significantly highly expressed,while ZmBAM1.10,ZmGPT1.1,ZmPGI2 and ZmPBase2.6 were weakly expressed.[Conclusion]A total of 86 ZmSMGs genes are identified in the maize genome,among which ZmDPE2.1,ZmAG-PL2.4,ZmAGPL3,ZmGBSS1.6 and ZmAMY2.1 may be key regulatory factors of starch metabolism during maize grain development,playing an important role in starch metabolism.关键词
