摘要

Abstract

[Objective]Severe seasonal drought during winter and spring in the hilly areas of central Sichuan province significantly reduces winter potato yields.The study aimed to evaluate the effects of ridge drip irrigation combined with fertigation on the growth,yield and quality of purple potatoes.[Method]The purple potato variety'Mianziyu No.1'was used as the experimental material.A randomized block design was adopted with five treatments.Conventional non-irrigation was used as the control(CK).Under ridge drip irrigation,four irrigation levels were established:53.36 m 3/hm2(T1,one irrigation),106.72 m3/hm2(T2,two irrigations),160.08 m3/hm2(T3,three irrigations),and 213.44 m3/hm2(T4,four irrigations).For each irrigation event,the water volume was 53.36 m3/hm2,accompanied by a topdressing of 120 kg/hm2 compound fertilizer(N-P2O5-K2O=15∶15∶15)with each irrigation.By correspondingly reducing the proportion of basal fertilizer,the total fertilizer application amount for all treatments was maintained at 1200 kg/hm2.The effects of each treatment on the photosynthetic characteristics,yield,and quality indicators of the potatoes were measured and analyzed.[Result]Variations in irrigation volume affected leaf SPAD values,photosynthetic characteristics,biomass accumulation and tuberization traits,which subsequently influenced potato yield.With increasing irrigation volume,potato yield exhibited a parabolic trend(initially increasing and then decreasing).The T3 treatment achieved the maximum yield,which was 6.56%,6.19%,4.21%and 2.64%higher than that of CK,T1,T2 and T4,respectively;specifically,the yield of T3 was significantly higher than those of CK and T1.Compared with CK,irrigation generally improved potato quality,with dry matter rate,starch content,reducing sugar content,and protein content increasing by 8.71%,2.66%,75.36%and 2.49%,respectively.There was a significant difference in dry matter rate between CK and T1 and T2,and a significant difference in protein content between CK and T1.However,no significant differences were observed in starch content or reducing sugar content between CK and any of the irrigation treatments.Additionally,dry matter rate,starch content and protein content followed a'decrease-then-increase'pattern with increasing irrigation,all peaking in the T1 treatment.There were significant differences in dry matter ratio and starch content between T1 and T3.The protein content differed significantly between T1 and T3,as well as between T1 and T4.Among the irrigation treatments,the highest reducing sugar content was observed in T2,while the highest Vc content was recorded in T4.But,there were no significant differences in the contents of reducing sugar and vitamin C among the various irrigation treatments.[Conclusion]An irrigation quota of 160.07 m3/hm2 distributed over three appli-cations is recommended as the optimal irrigation schedule for potatoes in hilly seasonal drought regions.
